Abtot Childcare was originally set up by Jemima & Gary Knibb to offer parents and carers the opportunity to leave their children knowing that they were being cared for by professional, reliable and background checked babysitters, either at home or even away on holiday in the UK.

Why offer this service to people?

As parents ourselves we know how important it is to get the right balance in life. That it is essential that you make time for yourself, your partner, work commitments as well as your children. We also know how difficult it is to find someone to look after your little ones, especially if you don't live near family or friends. We hope that providing this unique, quality service we can help you to relax and enjoy yourselves.

Some important information regarding our babysitters.....

• They all go through a careful selection process which include interviews, background checks and personal references being taken. The vast majority also have Police background checks (CRB).
• Every babysitter on our database is at least 18 years old, the majority have their own transport.
• They all have extensive childcare experience. The majority coming from a Nursing or Childcare background with relevant qualifications.
• Although Babysitting services are currently unregulated, we still apply the same high OFSTED standards to our Babysitters as we do our Nannies and Crèche assistants.
