At Abtot Childcare our aim is to provide you with the most reliable and effective service anywhere in the country. We listen to your needs and then match them carefully with the 100's of candidates we have registered with us.

We operate with a small dedicated team to give you that personal touch all the way through the process.

This website also aims to give you an understanding of the different levels of care available, so that we can help you find the ideal Nanny, Au Pair or Mothers Help for your children. It will also give you an insight into the different qualifications you will come across and the pay rates that different carers charge.

We first need you to fill in an enquiry form online. You will then be contacted by one of our team to go through the finer points of your requirements.

There is no obligation and this part of the service is completely free.

As you will be leaving your children in the care of someone new, there are certain things that also need to be taken into account. For example have they been police checked? The majority of nannies will have a CRB Enhanced Disclosure Certificate www.crb.gov.uk We check to see if all our candidates have these and would inform you if any person did not fulfil this requirement as well as to the reason (perhaps the person has been in the UK for less than a year)

Once you have decided who you would like to interview, please be assured you will not be left to get on with it. We will guide you through every step and have some excellent tips on interviewing techniques and questions to ask prospective nannies. Please feel free to request a copy.

Even after you have chosen your perfect nanny, you will not be left alone. We will be here with to offer any help or advice you require.

Although Abtot Childcare will take references (a minimum of 2) for all candidates registered with us, we would also advise you to speak to a previous employer yourselves it is a very important decision for you to make and this may help you make your mind up.
